Duncan Hall
Dr. Duncan Hall is the author of "A Pleasant Change from Politics": Music and the British Labour Movement Between the Wars (2001, New Clarion Press) and Brambleholme Summer (2010, Peel Island Productions). He has written extensively on modern British and European history and politics as well as on children's literature. As half of the popular acoustic duo, The Hall Brothers, he has performed across the UK and in Ireland and Holland.
Duncan is the ex-Topic Editor for Folk Music and writes articles on a range of subjects including his specialisms in politics, history, music and 20th century British children's literature, but also on travel, cricket and Yorkshire (England). Duncan is also a college lecturer and writes on issues relating to UK education.
